Premier League!! Jurgen Klopp Speaks On Liverpool Winning The Title This Season After Win Against Palace

Jurgen Klopp says he “couldn’t care less” about talk of winning the Premier League and insists he’s happy if Liverpool have to play “ugly”.
A James Milner penalty and late strike from Sadio Mane helped the Reds beat Crystal Palace 2-0 win on MNF to maintain their 100 per cent record after two games.
Asked about his hopes of challenging for the title, a beaming Klopp told Monday Night Football: “It’s very early. I couldn’t care less and it’s not important.
“We are not in a race with other Premier League teams each week saying ‘wow, they’ve scored these goals’. I was not 100 per cent sure in the first half we’d score [against Palace] but you have to be a real challenger and that’s what we are each week.
“We must be really different to play. We need to be ugly to play, difficult to play and nobody should be happy when Liverpool is coming or when they go to Anfield.
“That’s our target and then we’ll see what happens at the end of the season. This league is too strong to say anything after two match days!”
Liverpool will be desperate to keep on the tails of reigning champions Manchester City having finished fourth last season – 25 points behind Pep Guardiola’s team.
Klopp’s side dominated at Selhurst Park on Monday night and sealed the victory thanks to Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s late sending off and Mane’s goal in injury time.
While Palace boss Roy Hodgson fumed over the penalty decision, Klopp paid tribute to the Eagles and admitted his own team were far from perfect.

Militants In Niger Delta Set To Declare Republic June 1

As killings in the Nigerian nation continues, a militant group, known as the Network of Niger Delta Republic Fighters, has threatened to declare a Niger Delta Republic on June 1, 2019 to register their displeasure. In a statement issued on Monday by the group, it said they were not happy with the situation in Nigeria just as the Director of Information of the group Maxwell Dan alleged discriminatory maltreatment of the people of the region by the President Buhari administration. The group among other things listed police invasion of the residence of a Niger Delta leader, Chief Edwin Clark, last year and current ordeal of the ex-Chief Justice of Nigeria Justice Walter Onnoghen as part of their anger, adding that the selective maltreatment of Niger Delta people was on the increase.

Two killed in fresh Plateau attack

Two persons were killed by gunmen in a Thursday morning attack at Nding Suisut Village of Barkin Ladi local government area of Plateau. DSP Terna Tyopev, the Police Public Relations Officer in Plateau, confirmed to the News Agency of Nigeria on Thursday in Jos that two persons were also injured in the attack . “ This morning at about 6 : 30 pm , we received a distress call that gunmen shot some persons at Nding Suisut Village of Barkin Ladi . “ Armed Police personnel were immediately dispatched to the area , but on arrival at the scene , four persons were seen with wounds from gunshots. “ We rushed them to the General Hospital in the locality where the doctor on duty confirmed two out of the four victims dead . “ The remaining two are currently receiving treatment at the same hospital and in a stable condition , ” he said .
